Ralph Lauren Ralph Lauren fragrances and colognes is a famous American fashion designer, known for the Polo line, and other collections of clothing, accessories, and home decor. The Ralph Lauren fashion house was founded in 1967 and began with the launch of a line of men's ties. The company grew quickly, and acquired its own showroom within the Bloomingdale's department store in 1969. It also acquired its own independent showroom in Beverly Hills by 1971, and the first women's collection from Polo was released that same year. The company continued to release fragrances for both women and men, beginning with the iconic Safari fragrances in the 1890s, and through new releases under other brand names in the first years of the 20th century. The brand's first launch was in 1978 and the most recent in 2015. The fragrances are produced in collaboration with designers: Yves Cassar, Harry Fremont, Richard Herbin, Honorine Blanc, Alberto Morillas, Olivier Guillotin, Carlos Benaim, Pierre Negrin, Christophe Laudamel, Ellen Molner, James Krivda, Annie Buzentin, Fremensch, Alain Alchenberger, David Abel, Jim Krivda, Linda Kramer, Anton Lee and Dominique Ropion.
