Giorgio Armani Giorgio Armani Giorgio Armani fragrances and colognes is an Italian fashion designer who is especially famous for his men's fashion. He started his career as a window dresser in a department store, then moved on to a men's clothing salesman. From 1960 to 1972, he worked as a fashion designer for the famous fashion house Nina Cerruti and then worked as an independent designer for several famous fashion houses before creating his own label. He presented his first men's collection in 1975, followed by a series of women's clothing in the same year. Armani gained a large audience for designing the costumes for the famous film "American Gigolo", in which the character Richard Gere wore elegant Armani clothes. This was the beginning of many future contracts with several films. Giorgio Armani's first designs were in 1982, and his most recent were in 2015.
