Cacharel Cacharel fragrances and colognes is a French fashion, accessories and fragrance brand, founded in 1962 by designer Jean Bousquet. The company takes its name from the local term anis querquedoula, a small duck native to the Camargue region of France. The early edition was released in 1978 and the modern edition in 2015. Cacharel fragrances were created in collaboration with perfumers Laurent Breuer, Dominique Robin, Honorine Blanc, Sophie Labbé, Pierre Wargny, Roger Pellegrino, Robert Gonen, Paul Leger, Raymond Chaillan, Olivier Cresp, Dora Dagreche Arnaud, Gérard Goby Arnaud, Gérard Goby, Jean Guichard, Domitille Bertre, Olivier Polge, Jean-Pierre Bethoart, Carlos Benaim, and Alberto Morillas.
